- Artist | Kidd Adamz
- Song | “Hold On”
- Project | Fweagovelli (release date TBA)
Got this in the submission box, and I was inclined to press play. Turns out, the song goes pretty hard in the street context, but the video stood out for me – mainly because I thought my YouTube player was going full retard on me (no diss). That being said, Kidd Adamz delivers a solid joint here with “Hold On“, and he has a new project that’s in the works to be dropping sometime soon, but that date’s unknown. Let’s present this to the readers, though: should we post more from Kidd Adamz on the site?
Huge nod to MarcMyWxrds on the directing tip; nice, nice editing, sir.
- Artist | Dutch ReBelle (feat. Jefe Replay)
- Song | “Air It Out”
- EP | Kiss Kiss (Sept. 21st, 2015)
We’ve always been a fan of Dutch ReBelle’s music, and she’s linked up this time with Jefe Replay on this smooth, party-vibe heavy song. “Air It Out” not only looks like it was fun to record, but the song has Dutch taking a break from the content driven stuff we’ve posted from her in the past. It’s a nice little detour, so check out the video, and be sure to check for her Kiss Kiss EP coming out in a few days.
- Artist | Phora (@PHORAONE)
- Song | “God’s Plan”
I found out the story of Phora the night after he was shot up on the freeway. It’s funny how life happens… and it’s funny how God has a habit of taking what people intended for evil and spinning it for good. If you’re not familiar with the story, check the video up top. It’s not often when you can hear the heart of a person when they rhyme, and this story resonates for me. Check the video up top for the story, and check back for the project when it drops if it stays consistent with the dope music.
“God’s Plan.” Crazy.
- Artist | Pavy & Qualmes
- Song | “Uber”
- Album | DUI: The Album
[Submitted By | @OfficialNotYou]
So THIS hit me out of nowhere. GM hit me with a couple of music links to round out today’s posts, and although the first click didn’t impress me, the second one? Did. And I got a problem with Pavy because we’ve held conversation and he never once told me he was sitting on fire music.
Although, to be honest, I’m glad he didn’t, because I get that all the time (and I’m sure he does, too). So this is probably the best way this could’ve happened, with someone else putting me on his music. Pavy and Qualmes come directly for your speakers with “Uber“, a situation that more rappers need to adhere to. It’s a dope turn-up song, and I’ve already downloaded this project to see if the rest of the tracks hold up… I’ll keep you posted. For now, hit play.
- Artist | Lili K.
- Song | “I Got It Bad And That Ain’t Good”
Lili K. has been busy as of late. The last I had heard from her was the surprise vocals alongside Donnie Trumpet on Surf (“Go“), and although I wasn’t the biggest fan of the entire song, Lili’s vocals were on point as always. Now, she’s returning to that Jazz vibe with a new project, The Garnett Sessions, to revisit older track and give them a bit of her flair, which is a pretty dope idea. The first installment premiered on Revive-Music, but the video needs more views immediately, so press play up top and check back for more dopeness.
